Ralko Vlada

Born in 1969 in Kyiv.

In 1987, she graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Republican Art High School.

In 1994, she graduated from the painting department of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv (studio of Professor V. Shatalin) and joined the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In 2001, she received the prize of the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Painting.

In 2007, she received a scholarship from CCN Graz.

In 2019, she became a laureate of the He for She: Women In Arts.

Over the years, Myskina has had many solo and group exhibitions: “Kaleidoscope of (Hi)stories. Ukrainian Art 1912-2023” Albertinum, Dresden (Germany); “Vlada Ralko & Volodymyr Budnikov: Questioning the Visible” Galeria Arsenal, Bialystok (Poland); “Women at War” Fridman Gallery together with Voloshyn Gallery, New York (USA); “Ukraine: Short Stories: Contemporary artists from Ukraine” MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts, Rome (Italy); “The phantom of liberty. Version” Galeria Arsenal, Bialystok (Poland) and others.

The artist’s works have been exhibited in art spaces around the world, including Lincoln Centre (New York, USA), Rebellminds Gallery (Berlin, Germany), Kunstlerhous (Vienna, Austria), Saatchi Gallery (London, UK).

Currently, the artist’s works of several series are exhibited at Art Ukraine Gallery.
