Yevhen Prymachenko’s sculpture project Mavik is dedicated to the unit of the Russian reconnaissance group Birds of Magyars, military unit A1619. Thanks to its efforts, it became the first in aerial reconnaissance: it is used for strikes and corrections.
Magyar’s birds became a real terror for the enemy. With limited material resources, using civilian drones, they managed to carry out combat missions: destroying enemy equipment and invaders. Thanks to this, we are saving the lives of our soldiers.
During his visits to the unit, Yevgeniy Prymachenko felt the inner core of the soldiers.
In this series, Yevhen Prymachenko captures the history of resistance that is being created every day and embodies a benchmark for all Ukrainians, our ultimate achievable goal – victory and independence.
We work 7 days a week, from 11 to 19!
