The composition is based on three figures of boys who are prototypes of the legendary brothers who founded Kyiv – Kyi, Shchek and Khoriv. In the completed sculpture, the children are playing with boats on a stylised map of Kyiv, and a few metres away there is a bronze bench with a little girl sitting on it, the prototype of Lybid’s sister.

According to the author, there are three levels of perception of this composition:

• direct – children just playing, launching boats;
• historical – the children who founded Kyiv, the prototype of the
• legendary brothers: Kiya, Shchek, Khoriv and their sister Lybid;
• sacred – the image of space children.

If you buy a sculpture, the author will cast it in bronze within one and a half to two months. Every second hryvnia raised goes to help the children under the care of the Ohmadyt National Children’s Hospital.
