Recently we celebrated the anniversary of our beautiful Art Ukraine Gallery! The artistic space of incredible proportions has been operating in a new, charitable format for a year now!
We met in a warm circle of artists, friends and benefactors of the gallery, primarily to thank them for what we have achieved this year with a common goal. Since the opening of the gallery, we have raised UAH 3,500,000 at charity auctions. For these funds, the Foundation for Humanitarian Development of Ukraine and the NGO Vidchuy, together with the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine, purchased and donated three rooms for hearing diagnostics, an ENT unit and postoperative rehabilitation. UAH 700,000 was also allocated to purchase several hundred protective headphones and filters for our military to help them preserve their hearing during the fighting.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who believed in us: first of all, to the Domosfera shopping centre for such a large and luxurious territory for the home of Ukrainian art, for their trust and desire to do good deeds together, to the little patients and their families – of course, who have them left – of the country’s largest children’s hospital and director Vladimir Zhovnir, to all our brilliant artists.
