Mykola Kryvenko

Born in 1950 in Kyiv.

In 1969 he graduated from the Republican Art School.

In 1975, he joined the 1st exhibition of nonconformists in Kyiv.

In 1978, he received his higher education, completing his studies at the Graphic Department of the Kyiv Art Institute in the studio of H. Havrylenko.

In 1992, he became a member of the artistic group “Picturesque Reserve”, which included such eminent artists as Tiberii Silvashi, Anatolii Kryvolap, and Marko. He is also a member of the National Union of Artists.

Since 2006, he has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Drawing and Painting at the Kyiv University of Construction and Architecture.

He had many personal exhibitions in the capital in different years of his career. The artist’s works are kept in the National Art Museum, the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko, the Khmelnytskyi Museum of Contemporary Art, the Serhii Parajanov Museum (Yerevan).

He lives and works in Kyiv.

Currently, the works of several series of the artist are demonstrated in the Art Ukraine Gallery.
