KRYVOLAP HANNA

Born in Kyiv in 1977 in the family of the famous artist Anatolii Kryvolap and ethnographer Zinaida Vasina.

In 1989-1995, she studied at the Taras Shevchenko State Art High School.

Since 1990 – an active participant in national and international exhibitions.

In 2001, she graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.

In 2013, she won the first prize of the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Painting.

In 2021, she became a laureate of the Kyiv Art Prize for a series of paintings “Capitals of the World” created during 2018-2020.

Her personal exhibitions were held in Tbilisi (1990), Kyiv (1996, 1999, 2001-10, 2012-13), Zaporizhzhia (2010), and Vienna (2013).

Prominent works: “Self-Portrait” (2001), “Sense of Play”, “Calm” (both – 2003); series – “Plastic Compositions”, “Abstract Compositions” (both – 2001), “Heat Wave” (2003), “Kyiv Motifs” (2007-09); cycles – “Horizons”, “Wells” (both – 2010-12).

Currently, the artist’s works of several series are exhibited at the Art Ukraine Gallery.
