He was born in 1979 in Lviv in a family of artists. Since 1980, he has been a resident of Kyiv. His father is a Ukrainian sculptor Mykola Bilyk. Mother – Nataliia Borysenko, a master of decorative art (artistic textiles). Grandfather – Ukrainian sculptor Valentyn Borysenko.
In 1999, he studied at the Kyiv Art and Industrial College (now – Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after Mykhailo Boichuk). In 1999-2005, he studied sculpture at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAFA).
The artist creates works for public spaces, including the sculpture ‘Rain’, which was installed in 2010 on the Landscape Alley in Kyiv. A copy of the work was also made for the Turn Park sculpture park in Massachusetts (USA).
Nazar is a participant in a large number of exhibitions and symposia:

In 2013, he received a grant from the President of Ukraine in the field of fine arts to create works from the series ‘Counterforms’[3]

Currently, the works of several series of the sculptor are exhibited at Art Ukraine Gallery.
