BABAK OLEKSANDR

Born on 6 June 1957 in Kyiv.

In 1984, he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (NAoFAaA), his teachers were Mykola Storozhenko and Vilen Chekaniuk.

In 1988, he became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

In 1991-1995, he was a member of the art group Zhyvopysnyi Zapovednik.

In 2004, he had a personal exhibition – “Codes of the Earth” at the Ukrainian House, Kyiv. The head of the institution at that time was Nataliia Zabolotna.

The artist’s works are kept in Ukrainian museums and private collections around the world. The artist participated in numerous exhibitions, including the most significant ones:
