Oleksandr Klymenko

Born in 1963 in Luhansk.

In 1989 he graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute, specialising in monumental painting.

He was a member of the creative group “Paris Commune”.

Significant works: “The Land of Love”, “The Land of Plenty”, “The Flowering of Japan” (2000); “Coastal Waves”, “Birth”, “Connection”, “Firefly Pilgrimage”, “Carnival” (2001); “Maria”, “Sun Gold”, “Stained Glass” (2002); “The Poet’s Love Adventure Once in the Summer Twilight of Youth” (2006).

Oleksandr Klymenko is a classic of contemporary art, the founder of the metaphysical concept of “New Transabstract Painting”, a cultural critic, the creator of the humanistic theory “Ecology of Aesthetics of the 21st Century”, a philosopher, the author of numerous texts and studies of contemporary culture.

He lives and works in Kyiv.

Currently, the artist’s works of several series are exhibited at Art Ukraine Gallery.
