Shumikhin Danylo
He was born in 1985 in Kherson.
In 2010, he graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Sculpture.
In 2013, he joined the project “Industrial Eden” as part of the X Art Kyiv Contemporary at Mystetskyi Arsenal. At that time, its leader was Natalia Zabolotna.
In 2014, he again took part in the IX Art Kyiv Contemporary, Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv, chaired by Natalia Zabolotna.

Danylo Shumikhin works with several media. Central to his work are the themes of memory, rethinking the historical past, information and the field it creates. The language of Shumikhin’s works is quite laconic, but behind the outward simplicity lies a conceptuality that is typical for Ukrainian millennial artists.
Currently, the sculptor’s works from several series are on display at Art Ukraine Gallery.
